Practical answers for planning the room, the list and the result handoff.
Is the lucky draw random?
Yes. Final winners are selected with the browser crypto.getRandomValues secure random source before the presentation animation begins. The animation never decides the result.
Can the same person win twice?
You decide. The default blocks repeat winners across the event; you can instead block repeats per prize or allow repeats.
Can I import names from Excel?
Yes. Copy a single Excel column and paste it into the participant box, or export your sheet as CSV and import name, number, department, group and note fields.
Is participant data uploaded?
No. Participant lists, settings and results stay in your browser. Background and prize images use browser-local storage.
Can I use it on a projector?
Yes. Fullscreen stage mode hides editing controls and keeps winner names large for TVs, projectors and LED screens.
Will it work without internet?
After the page and its local assets have loaded, an interrupted connection does not affect an active draw. Reloading offline requires the browser to have cached the page.
Can I export winners?
Yes. Export winner history as a UTF-8 BOM CSV for Excel, and export the complete activity as JSON for backup or transfer.
